O/T Advice selling a car (93 Ford Explorer)

I've got a 1993 Ford Explorer sitting in my driveway. I've debated keeping it, selling it, and keep going back and forth. I've decided at this point, I just want to sell it.

It's got 195k on it, and it needs some work. I don't have a title for it ( my mom is the original owner, but it got lost in a house move a few years back) I'm in RI which doens't care if the car is 10 years or older.

Should I slap it up on Ebay?
Sell it localy?
Sell it to a dealer ?? (would be less but would move quicker)

I was going to wait utill I get a new car, and use it on a trade in, but I can't wait that much longer now.

Any suggestions?

Yes the though has occured to me to junk it, and keep the rear axle, but I really think it's worth a little more sold as a whole.

Thanks!

I don't want a whole lot for it, probably about $1000ish. Just wondering if anyone had any input or any luck selling a car to a dealer without buying one from them.

The stealer out here in CA gave me $1500 for my 93 Explorer Sport when I traded it in on an 03 TJ. It was in pretty good shape and had 160K miles on it. My 2 cents.

If you have the space, part the thing out and sell the pieces on E-bay. That way you could keep the axle for yourself and also make some change.
