Not just for Jeeps anymore
My kitchen became full years ago so I turned half a walk in guest closet into a pantry. I decided to put in a rack to hang stemmed glassware to use up the last bit of wasted space. I've got enough stemmed glassware to almost open a classy bar.
I needed some 2 1/2" and 3 1/2" long screws. I picked up the 2 1/2" in #8 and checked the head, they were Phillips. The 3 1/2" were only available in #10 so I picked up a dozen. When I started to install them, I found that the #10 were Torx heads. They worked well anyway. I put a Torx bit in a 1/2' drill motor and could stall it out without slipping in the head The Phillips usually popped out of the head when they got tight.
For LEVE and others who have never been in a bar, to understand what I built, look over Sam or Woody's head next time you see a rerun of Cheers.
