Attempting first 4.0 removal out of YJ need advice

Long story short my friend redlined his YJ, and broke the pushrod on the number one cylinder. Spit a big chunk out of the oil pan, and then another smaller piece got weged in between the cam and the block, and put a small fracture in the block. OK, so thats easy, cant rebuild it, just swap it with a good wrecker, or crate engine. I've never done it before, but I think with the right tools, and the right knowledge, I can. I really need everyones advice. First, wheres the best place to get a replacment 4.0? (It was mounted on an automatic) Second, how hard is it really? I have 2 4.0 Cherokees and years of freakin experience with my 2.8 V6 86 Cherokee - and i'm pretty sure I can get all the tools, including a good hoist. I have a Haynes for Cherokee, which is not with me right now so I have alot of unanswered questions, but I will get a YJ one. Third, what kinds of tips or tricks can you people who have done it several times give me? Thanks in advance for any info.
