T18 case ?

I'm trying to get my twinsticks (homemade) setup and there is a round cylindrical casting on the case that I would like to grind a bit for some clearence. I don't know what the casting is for or how much, if any, that I can grind into it. Anyone got some info on this. Thanks.

Re: T18 case ?

On my T98 case (same thing, essentially), this nub is drilled and tapped, imaginably for connecting the TC shift mechanism. Open the tranny top cover and take a look inside. If nothing is coming through on the inside where that nub would be, you should be safe grinding it away.

Re: T18 case ?

I cut mine off on my T18 so my t-case shifter would fit.
