getting a 4L need info about tranny

Im getting my first jeep in a few weeks. 1993 YJ 4.0 auto. Im curious as to how good the transmission's are. This Jeep has 107K and I would hate to have to replace it. if Worst case scenerio would be that i would have to, anybody know where i might be able to find one? You should have one of the variations of the 904 (999,909, 32RH, etc.) . This is the same basic trans that has been around since (at least) the 70's. Very simple (relatively speaking) with only a few things to go wrong with it in the terms of adjustment (only a throttle position cable/linkage and band adjustments).

There are no inherant weaknesses to this transmission that I'm aware of. If it by chance has a lock up converter (I don't know) ..some Chrysler products have had troubles with the clutch material breaking loose and fouling the rest of the trans ...but I think that this is rare ...
