A/C Blower on Cherokee,,,,,Help!!!

Hey guys I have a DUHHH question. Is the blower motor in the Cherokee (93) and the a/c blower the same? I'm at work and have no manual here and the a/c blower quit on me this morning. I can use a little help on this one. The wife owns the cherokee and she will want this fixed right away .

Re: A/C Blower on Cherokee,,,,,Help!!!

That question had me stomped for a while on my 87 Grand Wagoneer. The heater blower quit working but the A/C was working fine. I had never heard of 2 different fan motors before but it turned out that there are 2 on the GW. I suspect that your Cherokee may have the same setup. The way I found out was by checking the wiring diagram in the back of my Haynes manual. After some investigation it turned out that the wire plug had come loose.

Well I found and repaired my problem!!!!!

Only one blower motor for heater and A/C. that I replaced with no solution.

The fan switch had already been replaced and I thought the problem was rectified.
Wrong,,, a few days later the blower started intermittent on off then finally off for good.

The solution was a second switch,,, DUUUUHHH.
The slide switch for the A/C unit to turn the whole thing on was the problem. I replaced this and the Jeepchick now has cold A/C and is off my butt.

Thanks to all who posted to my cause on here and the mid size board.
