[/ QUOTE ] Check the ground for that tail light. It may be back feeding voltage through the turn signal switch. The light will not come on with opposing voltage. (12V from both wires)
If you have a Volt meter. Check for voltage at the GROUND wire at the tail light to ground with the LIGHTS ON. IF you see voltage greater then 2 volts your ground has too much resistance therfore is not good. If you don't have a Volt meter, Use a test light on the ground wire with the lights on. If the light comes on, the ground is no good. Since your directionals do not work at all. My guess is that you will see >10V. Your ground wire may be off all together.
