I might be stupid, well, there's not too much of a question to if I am, but I really haven't a clue what you're asking?

Re: what if i take out a leaf spring or two

Here's how I do it (just did it a few hours ago).

When I say "jack up" I mean use a highlifht and jack from your front bumper, using a floor jack wont work!

1.) Put jack Stands under frame rails. (security)
2.) Remove bolts from front shackle.
3.) Hammer out bolts from shackle (jack up slightly so you don't have the leaf springs smack into the frame)
4.) Unbolt rear spring hanger bolt.
5.) Jack up more
6.) Lift up jacks to accomodate the higher lift
7.) Remove the bolt (from rear spring hanger)
8.) Undo UBOLTS (can be done after or before step 4 too)
9.) Remove Spring Pack
10.) let jeep rest on jack stands not the jack

Then remove the center pin, remove the leafs you want, then redo above in reverse orer adding step 1 to be jack back up to insert rear leaf spring into spring hanger.

Re: what if i take out a leaf spring or two

I recently took the shortest ones out of mine, didn't bother to remove spring pack.

only took center pin nut off one slid the two short ones out (they were not banded)
