OT-Perfect Jeep Morning

This morning was one of those perfect summer mornings here in Oklahoma, the sky was blue, the temp was just right, 74 when I got to work, and not a bit of haze anywhere. You could see forever! Its one of those mornings where you really fell sorry for people that have roofs on their vehicles, and felt even sorrier for ones who have the windows up.

It just makes you glad you own a Jeep.

Dont you love days like this?

Same here in Alabama... and my TJ is sooo far away right now. I just hope the weather permits this weekend for some trail riding.

Re: OT-Perfect Jeep Morning

Down here in Northwest Fla. (Crestview, Baker area), we have them beautiful mornings, but lately our afternoons have been wet continuously. So I ain't been able to go without my top. The last 2 times I did, ol' CJ was wet come quitin' time at the job. Oh well, before to long we'll have our dry spell. Can't wait.

Re: OT-Perfect Jeep Morning

It was a perfect "Jeep morning" here in NC also... Perfect for hardtop, and a rainsuit for what the top let by! Been squalling for days nows...

Last year, we had like 2" of rain all summer. This year, we get that every afternoon!

Re: OT-Perfect Jeep Morning

Agreed. I have gone to work in the morning (6 am) 40+ degrees with jacket, hat, gloves - no top. Boy do I get the looks. But coming home in the afternoon, 80ish degrees, not a cloud in the sky - I look like the smartest guy in the world. Everyone wants a topless Jeep in nice, comfortable weather, it is the rest of the times that separate us. It's a Jeep thing.

Re: OT-Perfect Jeep Morning

All week has been like that, 65 in the morning and 90 in the afternoon. Almost unheard of on this island. It's been great to have a Jeep. The crazy thing is all the people with hardtops on and windows up, I can't figure them out. They look at me like I'm crazy with the top and doors off.
