Tansmission swap ??

I have a 258 with a T-150 and a Dana 20. I'm looking at putting in a Ford C4 that already has the adapter for the Dana 20. It looks like a good swap to do. However, my questions are, how do I mate it to my 258? This C4 looks huge compared to my T150, will I need to change my driveshafts? Anything else I'm missing?

Re: Tansmission swap ??

Check with Advance Adapters. They have the stuff to mate just about anything to anything.

Could I ask why? Its going to be expensive for the adapter, if they produce it. Don`t forget you`ll need a
transmission cooler also.

Re: Tansmission swap ??

Just trying to improve my crawl ratio. Let change gears. How about swapping in a NP435 and a Dana 300. This seems to be a more popular swap. Will the bellhousing on the NP will work with a 258? How about the driveshafts lengths and mating the Dana300 to the NP435? Anyone ever do that swap?
