Warn or Milemarker

I need to get a new set of hubs for my Cj and I was contemplating getting the Milemarker. For one they are cheaper!

warn Premium vs. Milemarker Premium which one would you pick..

I am also looking at getting a winch and leaning toward milemarker.. faster retrevial speeds and cheaper.

So please tell me your experiences with Milemarker good bad or ugly..

Re: Warn or Milemarker

The winch has been discussed extensively and the overwhelming majority were in favor of the Warn. Haven't had experience with the Milemarker hubs.

Re: Warn or Milemarker

Ace, There was a long discussion on this issue a couple of months ago...You might try searching again. My memory is that the Milemarker hubs were lighter duty and more prone to failure and the Warn were the same as all their other stuff...good quality stuff.

Re: Warn or Milemarker

Don`t waste your money on ANYTHING from Milemarker, especially their hubs. Personal expeirence, I`ve
broke 2 hub bodies and the engagement springs have broke repeatedly also. Thats why their so cheap. If
your looking for an alternative to Warn, The Superwinch are nice. You can also check out e-bay, they always
have a bunch of hubs, new and used for sale. I picked up a spare set of Superwinch hubs, brand new still
in a sealed box for $30.00 shipped. I`ve seen Warn hubs go that cheap also.
