Where exactly is this place? I think I'm scheduled to work but I may be able to con them into giving me time off. Otherwise lets plan a trip to this new place in IL coming up.

Bagh, I don't even meet the minimum tech requirements. Oh well, I'll just wait till I get to school and try out this new place in IL.

Re: Apple Valley Farms, WI next weekend??

Aaaaahhhhhh! The weekend AFTER that I will be in Minneapolis with the Jeep visiting old friends. That would have been a perfect "detour" for a day. I've got too much to do to get it ready for that trip to be ready a week early.

A little more advance notice, and I'm all over it next time! Nick, you can make a pit stop by me if you take I-94 up. Let me know if you're going and I'll give ya' directions (super easy from the freeway).

I hear ya, We have a lot to get done too and we won't even get the donorJeep till monday or tuesday. Here is what we have to get done on his 75 CJ5:

1. Finish welding and bracing frame cracks on the front. We thought it was just one crack on the left rail right behind the F crossmember till we pulled the steering box

2. Build steering box brace.

3. Replace F inner axle seals, pinion seal, and u-joints.

4.Get donor Jeep and swap over front disc brakes, p-valve, and master.

5. get a few things up to their tech sheet specs. eg backing plates for hooks.

6. few other misc odds & ends.

We were going to start on all this back in June but my buddy ended up having a stroke so that put it off till now.

How about Dresser Club weekend on August 23-24?? We might make it to that too.
