Sorry can't help with pics but heres a BTT for you, might try looking around at Pirate too, I think most people find the NV4500 too long for CJ5s without lengthening the wheelbase but I'm sure its been done.

I'm afraid that with an NV4500 in a CJ5, your driveshaft would be just one U-joint. Other than that, it's pretty simple. Your profile says you have the 258, Advance Adapters has an adapter plate that will mate the NV4500 to a T150/176 belhousinng. Assuming you have a D300 tcase, you have some choices there. The early tailhousing will allow the D300 to bolt right up. There is a D300 seal kit that will work with the new style NV4500 tailhousing, alternatively you can use an indexing ring for a spacer.

Re: anybody have pics of nv4500 swap

I'll agree with CJ7Taz (slapping myself even now ).

I run a 258/NV4500/Atlas II combo in my Jeep with the AA bellhousing. It is my understanding that this is the shortest possible combination for these components (i.e. no adapters). My rear shaft running length is 16.5".

Unless you stretch the wheelbase, that's just NOT going to shoe-horn into a CJ-5.

Re: anybody have pics of nv4500 swap

It may not be to bad I have a 350/SM465/205 in a CJ-5 and I got about a 11in drive shaft. Dont get me wrong at first I was busting u joints left and right but I got a double cardon CV shaft from Tom Woods and it seems to work pretty good. Although Im not sure how long a NV4500 is. In a CJ-5 you dont really have a lot of room to play with. Now I wish I would have gotten a cj7 frame, which is still in the mix
