Creepy Crawlers?

Anyone seen the new maxxis creepy crawler tires? They look pretty mean but the only thing is that they arent radials. I heard that they were supposed to be coming out at the end of this year. Anyone seen them at a show are something?

Re: Creepy Crawlers?

I would love to get my hands on some 35x12.5's. I have called a couple of tire places and only a few of them had even heard of them. They did a report in 4 wheel an sport utility mag andthey had a good review so I am anxious to at least see a set of them.

You mean these?
As far as I know they have not been released yet. They (Maxxis) are getting ready to or have just done some photo shoots for an upcoming advertising campaign. The Jeep in this pic belongs to a fellow club member and will be the vehicle used for the advertisment.

The word on them so far is, very quiet, balance very well, but aren't the best in cornering on the street.

yeah, my wholesaler knows all about them, hes a jeep guy too, but he keeps bugging maxxis and they wont say anything about availability. they will have some good sizes though.

from www.maxxis.com :

35X12.50-16

“The level of interest the Creepy Crawler is generating is exciting. It’s nothing short of the largest and most aggressive off-road tire we’ve developed and we’re looking forward to its release later this year,” said marketing manager, Michael McGunagle.
