Conversion: Th-350 to Dana 300

I just purchased an adapter to bolt up a D-300 to a TH-350 and now I have some problems. First, my stock rubber mount holes won't bolt up to the adapter. My mount was from a Dana 20 is that different from the Dana 300 mount? And second question, when I line the crossmember up to the tranny mount none of the frame rail holes line up. I can just redrill new holes into either the crossmember or frame, but here again maybe the crossmember was different for a Dana 300. Any suggestions?

The addition of the adaptor likely moved everything back. You'll have to "adapt" everything you mentioned. And yes the skids are different. Unless you clock the Dana300 it'll hang much lower and the Dana 20 skid may not fit.
