Decent flex?

I'm curious what everyone thinks of the amount of flex my YJ has. Does this seem pretty good, or a little on the low side? Thanks...

just offering my opinion.
Looks like the front flex is decent. Whats holding the rear from flexing any more? I have a set of 4" super lift springs and soa on my cj. I get a lot more. But my springs are pretty beat. (Although it works well)

Re: Decent flex?

In the top right pic, it seems like the rear tire would fit further into the wheel well. Is the bump stop too low? Shocks to short or mounted too low?

Re: Decent flex?

The front looks pretty good and the rear seems to have decent drop but isnt stuffing the tires as much as it can. Shocks too short? Bumpstops?

Re: Decent flex?

looking closer I think we can rule out the shocks as the hold up...I looked closer at the front pics and it's miss the shocks! or is my sight just going...

Re: Decent flex?

I'm not really sure what's keeping the rear from flexing more. The shock is too long, and is keeping it fomr stuffing more, but in that picture, the shocks are removed. My shackle angle in the rear isn't that great, as it's near verticle. I removed a leaf from the rear packs, and this seemed to have helped some. What more can I do? I was thinking of trying a little longer shackle. Any other suggestions anyone?

Re: Decent flex?

Have you checked to see if you are hitting your bump stops?

Re: Decent flex?

In the top right pic, you're right, it's not stuffed all the way. I stopped traveling up the ramp whent he from left tire came off the ground. As for my rear hitting it's bumpstops, I don't believe it is, infact, I'm almost positive it's not, but I can't be sure until I go flex it again.
