4.0L can\'t idle, stalls out

My 4.0L had been running great for awhile. It is a 1993 4.0L HO from a Wrangler swapped into a Wagoneer. I used Hesco's CPS kit.. made sure the CPS connections were snug and that the CPS is still aligned properly with the balancer.

Over the last few days, I've noticed that when I start my Jeep in the morning, it would hesitate or stumble immediately, but then idle up and all was fine. Then last night, it started cutting out on me, stumbling really bad and not giving me any power. After letting it sit for 10 minutes, it was fine. Today, it won't hardly run at all. If I crank it, it will start up sometimes, but stumble really badly and stall out. It will run for 1-8 seconds. If I hit the gas pedal, I can get it to rev up, but as soon as I back off the throttle back towards idle, it stumbles and dies.

So far I have taken off the air idle speed motor (has 2 screws holding it on) and cleaned it.. what else should I be looking at? or replacing?

thanks

Check for fuel delivery...make sure that your fuel pump is pushing enough fuel and that your filter is not clogging...

1. When it's Dead and Dying...
2. Check the voltage on the coil...
3. It should be 12 volts.
4. If it's not there,
5. The ASD is shutting down,
6. That's controlled by the CPS.
7. It may not be as good as you think.
8. Did you space it?
9. Did you rig the fuel pump off that same point?
10. Do you get the 2 second fuel pressure up on ignition on?
11. Have you measured the fuel pump pressure?
12. Have you jumper 12 volts to the fuel pump, forcing it on,
13. To see what happens?
