Anybody in need of old Willys parts????

I was in a scrap yard the other day to pick up some steel and they had an old Willys sitting there the owner had brought it in and was paid scrap for it roughly .16 to the pound. But if anyone is rebuilding one and is in need of any parts let me know I will be happy to pull them and get them shipped out to you.(for a small fee) The frame is shot but many of the parts seem to be in remarkably good shape.

matbe worth a shot

babypoo-

I've got a buddy with a '53 CJ 3B who might be able to use some things. In particular I know he needs seats/seat frames for both front seats and a rear seat also. Any chance any of that is left on the Willys you're looking at? Do you know what year or model it is?

Re: matbe worth a shot

I can not find a VIN but by the dimensions I believe it to be 46-49 CJ2A or M38 and yes it does have the origanal front seat frames in it they have the padded seat backs but the seat bottoms are gone.

Re: matbe worth a shot

I'm looking for at least two items

A back Seat

And if it has the big holed filler I need the metal insert that is tacked to the body (the part the filler neck sticks through)

thanks for asking

John-

How much do you think the seat frames would run? If you can find out and let me know I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Re: matbe worth a shot

#1. No back seat
#2. Are you talking about the part that is behind the driverside door.

Re: matbe worth a shot

I checked with them the cost of the frames with the pads that are on them is $30 plus whatever you feel is just for me removing them and packaging them and what not. You pay the shipping if you want to figure the shipping cost my zip is 53110. Let me know.
