I scored a power gear box but wrong
 

Somebody brought me a gear box last night from supposedly a late 70's to early 80's chevy truck should work right? It won't. Looks like it has to bolt to the outside of the frame not on the inside. I've been wanting to do the power steering conversion for awhile and thought I was on track to get started but I guess not. Other than the aggrevation of getting a free "wrong" gear box what would this have come off of? Just curious so if I need to trade this for on that will work for me I will know.

Chevy power steering gearboxs from the 70's bolt onto the outside of the frame. I think the 80's also bolt on to the outside of the frame. My guess is it's off a truck from those years

You need one from a car, not a truck. The trucks bolt on the wrong side for a SWB jeep.
