Suspension companies, ONE more question

Well, as seems to be the trend around here my finances came through a little less than expected, stupid manager cutting hours. But, seeing as how this is the case, I will no longer be able to go skyjacker or probably even procomp. The only 4 inch lift i see for a YJ that looks reliable is one made by Hell Creek, anyone ever heard of it? the website is www.hellcreeksuspensions.com if that helps. I am planning on going skyjacker or SOA later on, but for now i need a lift that is affordable but no body, i despise body lifts most of the time. Well, all advice is appreciated and LEVE, I will call and attempt to contact their engineer, great advice as usual, just wondering if anyone has personal experience.

I have never heard of them before but after going to their sight it looks like a pretty complete kit and you can't beat the price. I would however find out what type of gaurrenty is on the parts so if a spring starts to sag alot, and quickly it will be replaced.

Re: Suspension companies, ONE more question

$389 is money

my 2 cents: is that you ask yourself what will be left of that lift kit after you do an SOA or upgrade to skyjacker later on?

zero?? = money in the trash dosn't sound like a real good deal to me.

If you enter into a 2 inch lift with quality springs (you used to be able to get BDS for about $60 bucks a leaf), then you could still use the 2 inch springs with the SOA.

a 2 inch lift probably wont need the drop pitman arm or T case drop. you don't need the track bar relocation brackets or bump stops.

with a 2 inch lift I can't see you needing anything more then:

springs
U bolts
swaybar disconnects
shocks

and It would look good with 31 inch tires. Toss on a 2 inch body lift to run 33s.

Would one need to lengthen any brake lines or any other lines along this nature for only a 2" - 2-1/2" lift kit?

Re: Suspension companies, ONE more question

Looks like a Roughcontry lift to me, they are made in the Heckethorn factory. I have one on my YJ, two years, no saging yet. I am happy with the lift it flexes well and rides good on the road. I paid the same price for mine.
