350 Chevy to my 151 iron duke bellhousing clutch ?

I went to put on a chevy clutch and my bellhousing is to small,I can trim off the webs on the inside and it should fit. I would like to know if you know anybody who has this combo and what they did to make it work? I have been told that I could trim the webs,I only need about a 1/2" of more and it should go together. Help!!!!!!!

I used a 151 bellhousing with my swap. I used the stock 6 cyl. clutch and the chevy flywheel and pressure plate. Be shure to use the small chevy flywheel.

Use the newer style or 305 style smaller flywheel with the 10.4" clutch.

I will have to look for a smaller flywheel. What would a small flywheel cost. The clutch is right at 10" so all I would need is the flywheel. The next ?? is what did you do for a starter. Thanks

I am using the stock 151 starter with my conversion, works great. Cranks the 350 over fine. Used a 153 tooth flywheel, a diaphram pressure plate from an early 80's camaro, and the stock throwout bearing. Has worked great for over 13,000 miles!
