Re: I don\'t think so at all LEVE...

Having experienced those times first hand I think of them as the good 'ole days...though any more just waking up constitutes a good 'ole day!

I kinda have my heart set on owning one of these someday...

I'm not naive I guess, I know I'll never own one of these. But for old iron they'd still romp most anything newer.

Re: not quite the same generation but close

So where is Tom Swift in that list? Speaking of Howdy Doody, that's where I get my response about my age, "I'm so old, I remember when Wonder bread only built strong bodies 8 ways." Poodle skirts, saddle shoes, Alice Lon petticoats, horseshoe heel taps, but most important, I could sleep in a park and wake up ALIVE.

Oh, and I do have one of these in my carport.

And if I ever find somebody who can paint, I'll be able to drive it again someday.

Does one of these count?

Built on the "wrong" side of the pond but still gives all those same feeling and emotions...

One of the guys who owns a shop here on the airport has a 70 boss. Wow. What a car. He also has the 5.0 mustang with about 2 miles on the odometer. Just buys them and stores them...sigh.
