Got a question, ok.....on your fuel injection motors there are 2 quick connect fuel lines that go into a little cylinder looking thing, about and inch wide and inch long. It has a little vacum line coming out the oppisite end of the fuel lines. Whatever this part is, is what is makeing the loud screaming noise that has developed from under my hood. My chiltons does not say what this part is, so to save a trip to the shop to find out what this is and why is it screaming at the top of its lungs thought I would through out the questions to the experts out there on Jeeps. My guess is the fuel pressure regulator..., no idea what the noise is though.

Been there, done that.
it's the fuel pressure regulator and look for a vacum leak in the housing, or just replace it and make sure there are no vac. leaks in the vac line or nipple. the noise is the spring inside the regulator vibrating and it is amplified by the fuel rail and it can get quite obnoxis.

A good adjustable one is about 2 bills, but unless your engine is seriously tweaked you don't need one of those! a oe. replacement one should be about 35.00$ I think?
pep boys or autozone probably less I would think.
