My dad\'s latest idea-shouldn\'t have started him...

Okay, I've mentioned before that my 62 yr old father came into a 1985 CJ7 that I'm swapping for my '74 CJ5. I'm keeping my tires, but other than that it's straight across. Oh, and he's also getting the '79 Cherokee Chief that I scammed with the low mileage 360 and the axles under it....

Now he has gone NUTS!

He is currently planning on driving the CJ5 with some 11-15 tires he has and building another rig for later on! He is getting another CJ5 frame he knows of and fully boxing it. Then in goes the 360 and the full width axles from the FS Cherokee. First he was talking a fiberglass body with tip up front end or maybe a stainless body, Next he is looking for a body off an OLD car or truck....he mentioned he found a '37 dodge the other day! He's also been eyeing a model A body near me. He's not sure what Tranny/T-case he is planning on running. All in all he's starting to scare me. It's going to be a sorta jeep hybrid (oh and he'll still have the CJ5). I don't know what to think. When he got rid of the '53 willys pickup he found I thought he didn't want a "big" this! LOL...Last time I print out a bunch of tech articles from Shortwheelbase dot com for him!

I'll post some pics if and when he actually gets started on this monstrosity!
