Klune-V extreme underdrive ???79 cj7 w/dana20?
 
Has anybody out there had any experiance with the klune-v
underdrive units in cj7's?
any and all input apriciated!!!

thats really going to limit the length of your rear drive shaft and thus limit yur agle isnt it?

that was my understanding as to why they arent common in SWB jeeps

I've seen 2 w/cv shafts and was curious if that extra 4:1 reduction was worth the effort!

They are well worth the effort to install, IF your going to run the rocks alot. If not, go with a 3.15 or 4.00
kit in your T-case.

I did not know there was a 4.0 kit for the Dana 20. I thought the best you could do with that one was to swap in Dana 18 gears for 2.46 or so. Would love to know, as I am building up a C-101 now, and the D20 leaves a lot to be desired in the gear reduction dept.

Actually the TeraLow kit for the 20 is 3:15 compared to the 2:03 stock so it should make a big difference and is $850 so it should be cheaper then the Klune too.
