Winches advice

I whould like opinions on electric verses hydrolic the good bad and ugly. [img]images/graemlins/thud.gif[/img]

Do a search, Lots of discussion and opinions on this subject. basically, Electric winches require good electrical system and good batteries. You can winch without the motor running. They are not an all day proposition however.

Hydraulics need the motor running, but can winch all day. Milemarker winches that are driven off the PS pump put a lot of strain on the powersteering pump and cause problems.
