Weld in new metal. The frame is rusted away.

Good luck on the tub, I'm still looking for one for a friend. For the frame, I've come across a few YJ frames for $100. They are stronger than the CJ frame but won't work with your narrow track axles.

Welcome to the world of CJ! If answers are to be had you can find them here or at the very least be pointed in the right direction. Good luck.

Hey Will, what would your friend give for a good CJ tub? I "may" have a line on one here in Ok.

In my experience the gauge and sending unit are both more reliable than the float on the sending unit. The float fills with gasoline and sinks to the bottom of the tank. I put up a post a few months ago on the problem and fix.

Dang guys, I just hauled a usuable tub and solid CJ frame to the scrap yard, got 20 bucks for them plus some other scrap metal. I tried to give the stuff away around here (MD/NJ) but couldn't find anyone and I had to get rid of the stuff since I was selling my house. Sorry you weren't closer. Good luck.
