M20 Welding tubes

Does anyone have pics or info on this? I have access to a wire welder for the weekend and was thinking about welding mine up. Any input?

Re: M20 Welding tubes

it needs to be a BIG wire welder, clean the tube and the differential case with a grinder or wire brush until its shiney clean new metal, then spray it with brake cleaner.

weld a one inch bead, then switch to the other side and weld 1 inch, then drink a cold drink, then rotate the whole assemply and do it again.

basically you should end up with 4-5 1 inch welds around the tube/diff, spaced apart, and allowed to cool in betweeen.
