power brakes & steering donors?

I just bought a M38A1, 350/350/d-18/d-44's both ends,5.38's etc.

Only problem is it won't stop very well.
1. Power brakes - is there an easy bolt up booster?
Use the same master or a different one?
2. Still has drums, 11's front, 10's rear. What's the
easy disc conversion? What's the donor vehicle?
3. Needs power steering too - has Saginaw now. Are the
manual and power boxes the same mounting?
Best donor vehicle to look for?

Thanks in advance.

Re: power brakes & steering donors?

Rich, your rig sounds just like some of the ones on our Early CJ5 board. You should check it out.

Is your saginaw box a 3 bolt or 4 bolt? If it's 3, you'll need to weld on a new bracket. You want a PS box that is 4 bolt. I think someone on our board has a link to a 4 bolt bracket source, or how to make your own.
Donors are CJs and 70's GM Tuna Boats.
I think that D30 discs, circa 1978, are the good swap for you. We have guys with disc swap experience on the board, but I'm VERY happy with my 11" drums, drilled with 54 holes each. Works as well as discs.
As for power, I'm not sure, but I know there are guys running power brakes on our board.
