found out the problem, bad clutch!

I had posted about 2 weeks ago about possibly a tranny problem but its now is a bad clutch, the springs are loose and the little fingers next to them don't move much. I will be getting a new one soon so back to thrashing the old jeep again, I miss getting dirty with it!

Re: found out the problem, bad clutch!

I picked up a new clutch kit at auto zone today and put it in, the aligning tool don't fit into the pilot bearing, is this bearing suposed to be out for fitment and reinstalled after the clutch is aligned? I have the 4 cyl wrangler 89'...

Re: found out the problem, bad clutch!

NO, you probably received the wrong alignment tool. The bearing remains in the crank. Did you replace the pilot bearing? If so, did you receive the correct bearing?
