Stupid exhaust question

I have a few exhaust leaks that I need to weld up. I was wondering if they sell any kind of additive to the engine that will turn the exhaust leaks a color so its easy to pinpoint where its coming from?

Whenever im looking for exhaust leaks i just look for the black, sooty areas of the pipe around all the joints.

Re: Stupid exhaust question

If seeing is believing: Have a buddy pour some thinned oil in the carb while you lay underneath, watch for the smoke. Make sure the tail pipe is downwind. (-: Other wise go with the black spots on the pipe. Chock the wheels, watch that you dont burn yourself on the hot stuff.
