clocking a 205

clocking a 205
ok this is a stupid question but ive searched and not found an answer yet..

im running a c6203 adapter notched for the 205 case..

so what im wanting to do is clock the 205 up bout 2 inch towards the pass side..
so what im lookin at is a 3/8 spacer clocking ring between the c6- and the adapter.. has any one done this im sure sum one has.. i dont see any problem with this does any one else?
trying to get as flat on teh bottom as possible..

thanks payton..
