Re: MegaSquirt passes Arizona emissions

Hey Mike,

Looks like you had a lot of wiggle room between you and the State of Arizona. Congratulation's on a job well done. How do you feel Megasquirt has help the performance of your CJ? Have you checked your MPG's lately?

Thanks,
Fran

Re: MegaSquirt passes Arizona emissions

Congrats Mike! The hard work paid off and you've taken Megasquirt a step further.

I would expect Mike is going to get similar gas mileage to my jeep (or maybe better?). I got 21.4 mpg with 33x12.5" tires, megasquirt, 4.56's and a T5 on the highway.

Re: MegaSquirt passes Arizona emissions

Not sure on the gas mileage yet. My next mod will be a bigger gas tank and a functioning fuel gauge.

The throttle response is allot better and it runs sooo smooth. It runs on the freeway with no problem now. It used to poop out at about 55 or 60 MPH. Now it is strong to as fast as I care to take it about 70MPH.

Best mod I have done so far and for under $500.00. Not counting the new cat and pulse air system.
