Looking for a 4.0

I have been busting it trying to look for a 4.0 in the southeast (I will drive to pick it up!), but I keep coming up short. I spent last friday going from yard to yard, but no luck. I live in Athens, close to Atlanta, and I am looking for that good HO 4.0...91-96. If anyone has gone V8, and is unloading one, let me know, and also, if anyone knows of one close by, let me know. Not looking to spend the bank, but I do know what things cost. Thanks guys

Re: Looking for a 4.0

Try J & T used auto parts in Marion, NC. They keep them on hand usually. Sorry I don't have a # for them, but a web search should come up with one.

Re: Looking for a 4.0

I'm not that close to you but I'm pretty sure that we have a 91 at work. If you want more details I can get them on monday for you.
I'm in Ohio and I think the price was either $350 or $250 with exchange. We just got it in, thats why I'm not positive on the details.

Re: Looking for a 4.0

That would be great! Does it have accessories etc? Also, I would only have a 4.2 for exchange, is that possible, if not, how much extra. Also, I would drive, Enterprise owes me a truck for a weekend! Thanks

Re: Looking for a 4.0

I'll let you know all the details on monday.
It will not have accessories on it. It will have FI and IGN on it. The core has to be the same as what goes. No core on it will be $50. I also still have to pull it as it's still in the vehicle.
Like I said I'll give more info on monday.
