Dana 300 vent question

Hey guys,

I'm trying to figure out how the vent tube located in the engine compartment connects to the vent on top of the Dana 300 transfer case. From what I can see, the vent location on the 300 does not appear to be threaded, but the end of the vent hose has a threaded 90 degree joint on it. Am I missing a nozzle that screws onto the joint and inserts into the TC? Thanks for your help.

Re: Dana 300 vent question

The vent fitting for a D-300 is a press fit into the t-case. It`s a simple matter to tap the hole out to 1/8"
NPT for a fitting to run your vent line.
