Square or Round headlights in the comp rig????

I guess the question has finally been answered.
The rig is just to tough to sport that "Bug Eyed" look that some of you are strangly fond of.

When the side panels are on it will still have a familliar Jeep look, from the side also.

Looks absolutely awesome.
Almost perfect - almost because it doesn't have round headlights. (Nobody saw that one coming)
Write about riding impressions after you take it to the trail/rock.

We have been testing it for the last few weeks. It is nimble and climbs like a cat.

Re: Square or Round headlights in the comp rig????

It doesn't seem too late to switch over to the good side. Round headlights are still possible. We all know you'd do better in competition with round headlights. Look what happaned in the past, remember that huge roll-over, its because of the headlights. Round headlight rigs are proven to do better in the heat of battle. Anywho, off my high horse...I think the tiger stripe idea is pretty cool. Maybe make something like claw tear marks?

Looking bad a$$ Jeff! Good thing you decided to stick with the square headlights. No need to put round ones on their and make your Jeep look scared to be in the rocks

wow, and to think that was just a plain ole YJ a few years ago... Would you mind posting a pic of the Jeep when you first got it? I know it has been through a few build ups now, but i think it would be cool for everyone to see what it was when you started.

Re: Square or Round headlights in the comp rig????

Jeff just one question first:

Whats the point of the angle of the grille. I have seen it a few times, but never really seen a reason for it.

Now if you put round headlights on it, i would be pissed, your just a square kinda guy.

Anyway looks like a hell of a rig.

Re: Square or Round headlights in the comp rig????

You gotta keep the square headlights. It just wouldn't seem like "H8's Jeep" with anything else. Plus you need to keep some original sheet metal on it!!

I still think you should do the frankenjeep and have one of each style lights, the best of both worlds.
