Dumb warn hub question...

I'm in the middle of swapping a waggy 44 in my YJ, and I installed a set of warn premium hubs (well, the driverside atleast), and the hub engages fine, but when i go to dis-engage it, it won't disengage immediately.. but if I turn the rotor the opposite direction, the hub will click and disengage.. when I turning it the opposite direction, its MAYBE 1/32nd of a turn.. hardly at all. is this normal? i've never owned manual hubs before, and wasn't sure..
thanks!
