Rear locker always clicking?

About a week ago I took the CJ on a dirt/gravel road. There was some muddy spots but more like a thick clay, just enough to get only the tires dirty. I went slow through it all and didn't have any problems. Now, more than before I notice my rear locker clicking all the time. It used to click on turns, and I was told that was normal. Its a lockrite, or so the PO said. Anywho, sometimes now when I'm going slow and straight I hear it clicking. It doesn't sound like a bad noise but its kinda annoying. Is this a problem and if so is there a fix for it? Would lower tire pressure make a difference? The CJ still drives great, just makes a lot of noises.

Re: Rear locker always clicking?

Make sure the tires are the same pressure and diameter , if not they will cause it to lock and unlock constantly and destroy parts pretty fast . Other than that , you may have a bent axle or housing .....
