4.0 to 2.5 throttel body installed

I got my 4.0 throttle body today, After cleaning it up replacing the sensors, and installing the helix spacer I noticed a distinct diffrence in power. No whistles as others have reported, and over all I would say it was $100 well spent. I now have 5th gear back, and it even has power.

Re: 4.0 to 2.5 throttle body installed

Car-parts.com had a ton of them Mine cost 45.00 and it is so simple there are really no pitfalls. Just change the sensor on the front of the TB clean everything really good and bolt it down.. Pretty simple..

Toughest part is to get the right TB.

Did yours have the three sensors on the T.B. or two? My buddy found an 97 t.B. locally but it was missing the mount for the MAF

I had 3, Sounds like your buddy got a pre 97 throttle body.. The sensor he is looking for on that model is Mounted on the firewall I believe...

The guys at 4bangersunited.com know this stuff forwards and backwards I would post there and ask them.
