EAST COAST - West Virginia Jamboree July 4th weeke

To anyone interested,

It's time to sign up for our Annual Jamboree.
The event will consist two days of guided trail rides, from stock to extreme, and probably a Thursday night run, and sunday run if there is enough people interested.

A pig roast with all the fixings, raffles, and fireworks display will be on Sat. July 5th. The facilities are top quality, and close to town.

We have some good trails for the novice/slightly modified to the trailer queen that doesn't want to bring it back without damage.

We have several new trails this year. We opened up Clutch Creek last Sunday. Itís unlikely that anyone will hit all the obstacles and not have to winch.

We plan to have the upper waterfall trail opened up by the end of the month. It is sick. Probably end up an all day winchfest.

We also have detailed trail descriptions on our website.

Click on the link to register, if you have any questions pm me.

Some of our harder trails have by passes to avoid the nasty obstacles.

Level 1 - Stock rigs, novice driver, good tires required
(don't bring a RAV4, CRV, or Subaru)

Level 2 - Stock rigs with good tires and good drivers, mildly modified rigs, traction aids a plus, some recovery equipment a plus.

Level 3 - Modified vehicles, 33's and up (31's on suzuki)
One locker required. Two lockers preferred, winch preferred.

Level 4 - Heavily modified vehicles, 2 lockers and winch required. Spare parts preferred, damage likely

Level 5 - Extremely modified vehicles only, bring your own tools and parts. You probably won't leave without breaking, or tearing something up.

If your live in the area, and are interested in joining Mountaineer Offroad, please contact me.

Re: EAST COAST - West Virginia Jamboree July 4th weeke

Are you coming?

What are you running?

YJ4rox and another guy have found another rock garden that we are still exploring access too.

He said it was insane, buggy material only.
He's running a yj on 36's spool, locker, winch.
He said there were a few spots he might pull into to pose for a picture.

If you one of those guys that don't feel like they wheeled until they broke something, we've got trails for you too.
But you hae to have a winch.

We had several last year complain about the trails weren't hard enough. We wouldn't let them run the hard stuff, because they weren't equipped.

I might actually be interested depending on what part of West Virginia it is in. It would definately be something different. I want to see where the NC and SC group is going.

BTW you should have been here this weekend Chris. We rode up a very nice creek trail in windrock. Going to ride Caryville sand mine today. Dunno if Ricky and his group is going to go or not.

The event is based at the Songer Campground.
It is between Fayetteville and Summersville right off of U.S. Route 19 at the end of teh New River Gorge Bridge.

Let me know if you're interested.

We had a club run last weekend. There are pics on the club website - forums - (on top)
Go to the yahoo page and they are in the photos section.

Old School trail will have a height limit on it this year due to an extremely large tree across the trail. (winch still required)
