97 TJ distributor cap oxidation
on my 97 4.0L TJ i just changed the cap and rotor not 3000 miles ago , yesterday when i checked what it looked like, they were both full of oxidation, what would cause that to happen in 3000 miles or so??? also my check engine light on and said error code
- 12 Direct battery input to PCM was disconnected within the last 50 Key-on cycles.
-43 - Peak primary circuit current not achieved with maximum dwell time. Misfire detected in one or more cylinders 1 thru 6. (4 and 6 cyls.)
anyone got any ideas if thats all connectedd or not? the jeep idles fine...
