Getting my Jeep from NY to Miami without driving?

I'm going down to miami from NY this week for a 2 week vacation and am flying down. I was thinking of somehow getting my Jeep down there. It's too late to drive it down since i already have tickets and don't really feel like spending the time driving. Any ideas on how to get it down there? I would rent a car, but it is over $500 for the two weeks. Thanks.

I'd say spend the $500 or use public transportation. Just guessing, I'd say it would take them a week to get it down there, a week to get it back and cost the $500 anyway. Try renting the car somewhere besides the airport, it's a lot cheaper even from the same company, and check for weekly rates.

How about the Auto train? Not sure where they picku/drop up north, but they stop in Sanford Fla. It is an AMtrak thing..
Check it out..Or, one of those "Rent A Wreck" or "Ugly Duckling" places, they are very cheap.. Do you really need a Cadillac? No, just some wheels. Right? You are probably used to driving a beater... Hell, you drive a jeep right???

Leve, why such a wet blanket. His profile says he's an accountant. He most likely has been working day and night to get his work load done by the 15th. He needs to relax a little. Crusing the Jeep in Miami, sounds nice! A pleasant change form that NY weather.

I think LEVE may be thinking spring break. If he's accurate, I agree and car rental would be high during that time period.
