which weber carb

i have an '87 jeep wrangler with the 258. should i get the 32/36 or 38/38? the engine is basiclly stock.

For good all around performance, I went with the 32/36 on my 1988 with a 258. Even though my timing is still off, it runs 100% better that the Carter BBD that I had on there.
If emissions and fuel economy aren't factors in your decision, you might want to go with the 38. You probably won't even pass the "sniffer" test with one of those though.

thanks i might go with the 38 since new orleans doesnt have the sniffer test. the city doesnt even check to see if our cars have catalist converter

Ive got a 81 Cj-5 with a 258 & it has a single barrel carb on it ,,, I purchased 32/36 for another project [img]images/graemlins/thud.gif[/img] that I had to make an adaptor for ,,, I was wondering what I needed to mount it on my 81 .... Thanks in advance
