AMC 20

Im in the process of building a AMC 20 and on the housing boss to the left of the diff cover right near the axle tube the code it has stamped in it is Y I cant find that code anywhere. Has anyone else ran into this code and what does it mean

don't know what the "Y" is, but the Letter code for the AMC20 should be tot he RIGHT of the diff cover, not the Left

According to http://www.jeeptech.com/axle/amc20.html , it should be on the left side of the cover. (drivers side)
