O/T This year just keeps going downhill

This year just keeps getting worse. A month and a half ago I lost my job. Now it looks like I'm going to lose my wife. She started the paperwork today for divorce.

Will I dont know you, but I know that would be a killer. I dont know if your a godly man but when things hit me hard and all at once I have to think 2 things. (This might just be me). God will never put me through more than I cant handle and he is doing this for a reason that I might never know but there IS a reason. When my 19 yr old cousin died. I thought why in the hell could that happen? He donated every organ and ended up giving 2 people the ability to see, 1 man the ability to live from giving his heart, and a few other people were helped because he gave every organ.

I hope that you can see that if you belive in God that hes doing this for the better and you just dont know it yet. Just thought maybe I could help.

Re: O/T This year just keeps going downhill

Will..... sorry to hear about your year. It definately sounds rough. But I just wanted to tell you that a LOT of us have been there.

I went thru the whole divorce thing a few years ago. It can really take the wind out of your sails. But you have to know there is more out there for you. I'm sorry for anybody who has to go thru that. Especially if it's a one-sided decision. But you will get better, it just takes time. I'm still not glad that I have gone thru that mess, but it has made me a better man. Some of the best lessons in life leave scars.

Good luck man.... Find you a distraction and concentrate on what YOU have control on.

Learn what serves you.... let go of what doesn't. I'm not sure that EXACT saying... but it's true.
