junkyard wars

did any body see lastnights junkyard wars ?they cut up a cherry early 70's cj5 to build a pulling tractor and didn't even win what a crime

I thought for sure they had a chance...what killed me most was them throwing out all those body panels that were rust free!!!!!!

I don't know about cherry, the front was pretty bent, but I'd kill if my floor boards and rear fenders looked that good. The ol' 258 held up well though, ran like a champ.

My wife was laughing at me cause i was causing such a rukus at my house because of that. that jeep looked so nice, ecept for the hit it took in the front side. I didnt realize junkyards have mickey thompson baja belts in that good of shape laying around [img]images/graemlins/bs.gif[/img]

I really liked those tractor tires... i wouldnt mind getting a smaller set like from a ditchwitch and going to ttown. Alot of buggies down here run the tractor tires for the swamps and they go anywhere, given the are a story tall and crawl slower than anything.

It was a good show
