Re: wide whitewalls? on a jeep???

1. Why not?
2. Building up Jeep's are:
a. Often based on "opinion"
b. and what's Cool
c. and what's pleasureable to the owner
d. or seeking the approval of a group they associate with,
3. Since I ain't God,
4. Anyone's opinion is as good as mine.
5. But if you can give me reasoning like
a. White walls on a Rock Crawler,
b. Or white walls on a mud buggy...
6. I'd still have to say,
7. It makes no since to me,
8. But then it dosen't have to make sence,
9. I didn't concive it...
10. I didn't buy it...
11. I didn't install it...
12. I don't even have to look at it...
13. I only have to accept that someone did.
14. Live and let live..

Wow, I got wheels and tires like that on the 1931 Chrysler in Dad's garage. Who'd thunk? Next time I go to dad's house in southern California I might have a go at it. I guess it's not my bag, I know the first rock will kill them. L8r,

Almost as cool as lowering a Jeep.

PS. Sparky, your dad gets the "best dad of the week" award!

Re: wide whitewalls? on a jeep???

Cool!!! But the wheels need to be chromed. I'd feel comfortable with them while listening to my Jerry Vale, Dean Martin, Al Martino, Rosemary Clooney, Lou Monte, Julius LaRosa, Gaylords and Louis Prima 8-tracks.

So, does anybody remember the fake whitewalls.

Re: wide whitewalls? on a jeep???

well, i hope you think lowering a jeep is ok then..
btw, the wheels are off a 1931 model A. i just leaned them up for a goof, they wont bolt up. however, this is the picture of the model A with the jeeps wheels on it...
I think it looks tough. dad dont like it too much though.
