YJ with 4.5" suspension lift and a 1" body lift...I know 35" Swampers will *fit* under the fenders, but will they work in real world 'wheeling or would 33's be better?

Sorry if this has been beaten to death..couldn't find the answer I was looking for doing search. Of course, I ain't nevr bin tu brite.

Re: Fit or hit?

I think you'll have some rubbing, but I may be wrong. You might consider a set of TJ flares for more room.

Re: Fit or hit?

Dude if they rub add some bump stops, you can make anything fit with enough beer, swazall action and adding some bump stops. I'd try it and if they don't you'll know you need a little more lift.

Re: Fit or hit?

If they don't fit, the first thing I'd try would be TJ flares. Stay away from Andy's advice about a sawzall. Some people have OBA or OBW. He has OBSA or onboard sawzall.

Re: Fit or hit?

Thanks gents. I was thinking about TJ flares or maybe the Bushwacker cut out flares. The stock ones are getting replaced eventually regardless.

OBSA, eh? Heh, with a sawzall and a roll of duct tape, you can do anything!
