Range Rover Fuel inj. on Jeep ?

I was told that the old rangerover engine (3,9L and 4,2 l)
should be an old US. engine (buick) the british has borroved.
this engine is fuel injected and i thaught that it might be a way to put fuel inj on our jeeps for us people in europe.
any ideas ? please.

Thanks alot

Re: Range Rover Fuel inj. on Jeep ?

1. I don't know why it wouldn't work.
2. The displacement's about right...
3. The fuel map may be a little off, but it's programmable.
4. The only issue I can think of:
5. Metric vrs Standard threads for the sensors.
6. But that can be over come...
7. Go for it!

1. You could use the MegaSquirt as a the TBI contorller.
2. It's a cheap controller and not full of the mysteries of the Landy or another propriatery conroller.
3. It's easily constructed/repaired with commonly avaliable parts in Europe.
