There are two different versions of that part, so watch out. On the newer 258's that had the aluminum intake manifold, the exhaust manifold attached only by an egr tub, the exhaust manifold is wider and will not allow the mounting of the earlier piece that went with the 258s that used the cast iron intake. You can use the newer bracket with either, but you cannot use the older bracket on the newer 258 having the aluminum intake. It lacks clearance for the exhaust manfold's first runner.

I just went thru this when I swapped manifolds, I had to swap brackets as well. So make sure you get the right one. The older one is straight, the newer one is curved for clearance.
